Serve the City Peninsula is still spreading kindness throughout the Southeast Community. We called all of the residents we have served over the past three years to make sure they are being cared for and to let them know we had not forgotten about them. Fortunately, they are getting most of what they need from family and friends. They did appreciate our calls and we were able to deliver a few items they requested this week.
Another way we have found to continue spreading kindness is collecting food, packing boxes, and making deliveries to Newsome Bailey Project (NBP) families & the elderly. NBP is a non-profit that provides free educational therapy for students. This is growing into a biweekly project and if you want to help either by helping to deliver boxes or by donating food check out the Volunteer page here on the website.
