Spreading Kindness on Global Volunteer Day

On Saturday, June 10th, volunteers from around the world came out to do small acts of kindness as part of Serve the City’s Global Volunteer Day! STC Peninsula wrapped up this day of making a difference by playing BINGO with our senior friends at Spratley House, helping out at the monthly Farmer’s Market at the Hampton Roads Urban Agriculture community garden, doing a little yard work for an elderly resident, and continuing work on an outdoor “classroom” at Tarrant Middle School in Hampton along with some of their parents and faculty.
