Three years ago Serve the City Newport News held its first event down at Newport Harbor Apartments and the surrounding area. Over 150 volunteers came out for that first event and since then we’ve held three Big Volunteer Weeks and dozens of monthly service days, served hundreds of individuals and families, and made positive impacts throughout Newport News. So as we celebrate three years of making a difference we look forward to new challenges and new opportunities to serve in this ever changing world!
