STC Peninsula Participates in International Forum

The Serve the City International Forum was held this past weekend, October 22-24, an event that is mostly just attended by city leaders.  Because of COVID, however, this year’s forum was held virtually from sites around the world and most of the core team of STC Peninsula was able to participate.  They had the opportunity to hear from international speakerslike Daniel Rugholm, the Deputy Director of the World Food Program (which won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize). They were able to attend workshops learning about things like Neighborhood Transformation and Human Trafficking.  And to add to the weekend, they also began the heavy lifting required to create a strategic plan for STCP and our efforts on the Peninsula. And all while masked up! Way to go Team!!
