On June 30th, 40 women volunteered to help Fear2Freedom, our newest non-profit partner, complete their annual inventory of supplies they use in meeting the needs of women and children who are victims of sexual abuse. Working in shifts of 2 hours, these volunteers spent an entire day counting things like clothing items and toiletries used to make AfterCare and iCare Kits they distribute to these women and children to give them hope and to let them know they are cared for. We will continue partnering with Fear2Freedom during our Big Volunteer Week (July 7-11) by writing notes of encouragement for those who receive the care kits.
