On August 20th we have the opportunity to help one of our regular nonprofit partners, Heart of Giving, bring resources to the community. This event will include back-to-school giveaways, vaccinations, eye care, and food distribution as well as free food, fun (bounce house and face painting), and music. We need a good number of volunteers to assist where needed. Serve the City will also have an info table where we hope to recruit future volunteers.
Set up begins at 9am and the Fair itself runs from 11am to 3pm. If you can come out for the whole day, great! If not, please indicate in the “Project Preference” box below what times you are available.
This event will be held at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton and we need 20 volunteers.
